Charlie Webster scored his second goal in as many games as he boosted Burton’s survival hopes with a dramatic stoppage-time winner in their 1-0 win at Lincoln.

Gary Bowyer’s Brewers have lost just once in their last nine games to give their League One hopes a real shot in the arm.

Albion goalkeeper Max Crocombe kept out Jovon Makama’s strike after he expertly brought down a high pass.

Sean Roughlan squandered a good chance on the stroke of half-time for the hosts as he drove through the Brewers before firing wide.

Icelandic striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson dragged his chance wide just before the break.

Debutant Sam Clucas saw his effort chalked off minutes into the second period for a foul on Jack Armer.

The away contingent thought Rumarn Burrell had broken the deadlock when he rattled the side netting with his first-time volley.

Webster, who scored the winner to down Stevenage last time out, won it when he fired a left-footed effort into the roof of the net two minutes into time added on.
