Ethan Walker scored a 90th-minute equaliser as Ayr delayed Falkirk’s title celebrations following a 1-1 draw in William Hill Championship.

The Bairns looked set to move 11 points clear of second-placed Livingston after Sean Mackie’s half-volley in the 44th minute put the leaders ahead.

However, Walker surged into the box to convert a Nick McAllister cross at the death and snatch a point for the hosts at Somerset Park.

Walker then picked up a second yellow card in stoppage time to receive his marching orders, but Ayr held on for a valuable point.

Falkirk are on course to clinch the title, with Livingston aiming to cut the deficit to six points with victory at Morton with four games remaining. The Honest Men sit in third.
