Forest Green got back to winning ways as goals from Emmanuel Osadebe and Harry Cardwell sealed a 2-0 win over Maidenhead.

Steve Cotterill’s men had lost ground on the National League’s top two with just two points from their last three outings, but relocated the winning formula.

Osadebe hit the first in the 11th minute and turned creator in the second half. He fed substitute Cardwell, who made the points safe with a smart finish into the top corner.

A third straight defeat leaves Maidenhead firmly in the relegation mix.
