Adam May’s stunning strike earned Forest Green a 1-0 win over Solihull Moors in the National League.

The midfielder found the top corner from 30 yards after half an hour to settle a tight contest at the New Lawn.

Solihull came close to an equaliser before the break when Manny Duku hit a post after a lightning counter attack.

It was Forest Green who looked more likely to add to their lead after half-time as Christian Doidge was denied on two occasions, but the hosts did enough to earn a victory that solidifies their position in the play-off places.

Solihull boss Matt Taylor is coming under pressure as his side have won just one of 15 games in all competitions in 2025.
