Jermaine Francis and Kyrell Lisbie were on target as Braintree claimed a 2-0 win at 10-man Fylde in the Vanarama National League.
Francis opened the scoring after 36 minutes at Mill Farm and Marley Marshall-Miranda almost doubled the lead when he volleyed onto the bar moments later.
Marshall-Miranda also headed against a post after the break but the visitors claimed a second just after the hour as Lisbie headed home from a free-kick.
Fylde’s woes were compounded when Jon Ustabasi was sent off for a bad tackle on James Vennings 10 minutes from time.
