Junior Morias’ brace helped Woking to a 2-1 victory over his former club Dagenham and Redbridge in the Vanarama National League.

Three points for Woking at Chigwell Construction Stadium marked the end of a four-match winless run as they moved above their hosts to 16th in the table, six points above the relegation zone.

After Morias netted in the 16th minute, Josh Rees’ speculative effort from range levelled the scores after the break.

But typical of his quality display, Morias held his nerve in the 52nd minute when he rounded the keeper and confirmed his second and his side’s victory.
