Manny Duku marked his full Solihull debut with a brace as they registered their first National League win this year by beating bottom-of-the-table Ebbsfleet 2-1 at Damson Park.

The 32-year-old forward this week signed a short-term deal with the club after leaving Hednesford and netted two minutes before half-time, heading in a cross from James Clarke.

Ebbsfleet, now without a win in 28 games dating back to mid-September, levelled nine minutes into first-half stoppage time when substitute Kwame Thomas converted a penalty after Alex Lankshear was brought down.

Toby Edser was sent off for Ebbsfleet for a second yellow card six minutes after the break and Duku made them pay five minutes from time as Solihull ended a run of 10 games without a win.
