Rochdale struck three times in the final 26 minutes to claim a 3-0 victory over Altrincham in the Vanarama National League.

Aidan Barlow broke the deadlock after 64 minutes at the Crown Oil Area when he turned in from a Tarryn Allarakhia cross.

Jay Bird doubled the lead three minutes later after a fine run and finish and Kairo Mitchell clinically wrapped up the points eight minutes from time.

Dale also had the best chances of the first half with Bird heading wide and both Connor McBride and Barlow forcing good saves from Rob Lainton.
