Forest Green lost top spot in the National League after Ryan Inniss’ first-half dismissal proved costly in a 1-1 draw at Woking.

Rovers looked set for a long afternoon when defender Inniss was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge after just 21 minutes.

But Steve Cotterill’s side were leading at the break after Christian Doidge flicked the ball into the path of Kyle McAllister and he cut inside before slotting the ball into the bottom corner in the 42nd minute.

Woking made a triple substitution at the break and were level in the 53rd minute when the impressive Dan Moss looped in a header, but they could not find a winner in a second half of few chances.
